Who we are
The Otto von Guericke Holding SE with the predominant investment vehicle VGIT (Von Guericke Investment Trust) is an international investment corporation with many different purposes of investment activity(see section below).It is built up by the historic endeavour of numerous successors of the famous Otto von Guericke, who was i.a. formerly known as one of the most influential nature scientists and diplomats/politicians in 17th and 18th century Europe.
The current leadership team is headed by one of his late descendants, PD Dr. Dr. Joschua M. von Guericke (Managing Director), who is in charge of responsibility for the holding's business agenda since May 2011. Besides its chairman, the board of directors consists of a large number of scientists and highly renowned business people, most of them are also well-known friends of the Von Guericke Dinasty. This is why there can be no important decision making without serious consideration of the spirit and values the famous family stands for.
